Dr. Kaback and staff at ORTHONY office in Albany were very professional, compassionate and with easy scheduling. He explained the condition well. I had a great experience at St Peters Hospital where Dr Kaback replaced my shoulder. His personal follow up has been fantastic. I would recommend Dr. Kaback. -

Wonderful experience
My husband broke his elbow while we were on vacation in Albany NY. We went to OrthoNY and connected with Dr. Kaback. He was awesome to work with - sincere and straight forward. His office was amazing - they helped us with everything we needed prior to the surgery. Dr. Kaback and his team made a very stressful situation easier. -

100% positive experience, Deftly Precise
I’m 58, this was my 1st surgery. As such, I was pensive. My wife & I go to my 1st appointment. We meet Lee, & of course we initially butted heads. However, in the midst of that, it was clear he has a strong grasp on his profession. This is the more important point. He did an exam along with an MRI. At this time, he stated, from what we have seen, we will need to do steps 1 thru 6, plus certain equipment for recovery, all pre-approved by my insurance. I wake up from the surgery, Dr. Kaback is standing over me smiling, stating, I have good news. The damage was not as extensive as we initially anticipated. We only had to do steps 1 thru 3, plus we can return most of the recovery equipment, it is not necessary. So I am being clear, Dr. Kaback could have not said anything & gotten paid in full, cause it was all pre-approved, no one would have been the wiser. Instead, he returned half the money & almost all the equipment. He is rare find indeed, y’all be fortunate to get on his client list.
Shoulder replacement.
I am a 78 years old man. In March of 2022 I saw Dr.Kaback about a total shoulder replacement. After several appointments we decided that I would need surgery on my right arm. It was not going to be easy, because I already have a 14" steel rod in that arm( put in 30 years ago). It would be possible to remove the old rod. Dr. Kaback informed me that it's a possibility that he would be able to fit the shoulder replacement with out removing the existing rod. We went ahead with the surgery. Now 4 months later I feel great. I did some PT. No more pain, and I can use the arm 90-95% one's more. Thank you Dr. Kaback.
